Retouching Challenge #8
How I Did It
· Duplicated picture.
· Using clone tool got rid of earring and ring.
· Using clone tool got rid of small blemishes.
· Made new layer, with blend mode set on color and about 30 % opacity, to apply makeup
· Using lasso tool selected face and then using flood fill in a skin tone I selected colored the face. I then erased the color from the eyes and mouth. I then repeated this for hand.
· Made 3rd layer, with blend mode set on color and about 30 % opacity, to complete makeup
· Eyes - Using air brush made eyes greener and whites a bit whiter.
· Eye Lashes - With paint tool set very small drew in some longer lashes (Mascara). Used Retouch>Soften on lash area.
· Lips - Using Lasso tool selected lips then Flood Filled with a rose color.
· Cheeks - Using airbrush set on about 20% opacity applied a pinky-beige color to cheek bones and to chin.. Then using Retouch>Darken , I added more shadow under cheekbones and beside nose.
· Merged layers.
· Lightened a bit and added a bit more contrast.
