I started this challenge using PhotoShop but am still not comfortable in it
so I reverted to Paint Shop. I'll get the hang of PhotoShop some day. Here's
what I did using an old camouflage tee shirt I had for color choices.
- Duplicated original
- Straightened and cropped
- Used fade correction
- Using clone tool corrected scratches
- On new layer in color mode painted skin and hair
- On new layer in color mode painted shirt and hat
- On new layer in color mode painted eyes and mouth
- On new layer in color mode painted background
Since picture looked too dark I did the following
- Adjusted brightness
- Since picture seemed to then have some spots that were too light
- Adjusted highlights
- Merged layers, resized, exported as JPEG at 60%
