Photo Art Challenge #8
Using Paint Shop Pro 7
I couldn't resist giving this a try although I didn't have much time.
What I Did:
- Duplicated picture on transparent background
- Opened picture I'd done in a project at PSPUG which was clouds at sunrise,
resized it to match width of hunter picture and copied as new layer behind
hunter picture.
- Using magic wand on original picture, selected sky and erased where clouds
from sunrise showed.
- Using magic wand on original picture, selected trees and some foreground
areas and using Retouch tool - Color to Target - colored trees green.
- Repeated this procedure on mountains in background and colored a blue gray
- Again repeated procedure on areas of foreground, jacket, and boots and
colored brown.
- I decided a man of the old west would have a different hat so I hunted
through my tubes and found a cowboy hat for him. Copied it as new layer,
adjusted placement, resized, flipped and rotated it then erased the old hat.
Adjusted brightness of hat to match man.
- Then I decided a man of the old west must have his horse so I grabbed
picture of horse head I'd done at PSPUG, eliminated background and copied as
new layer, flipped, resized, darkened and adjusted placement - then painted
in chest of horse and added bridle and reins.
